Dog Treat RecipesThere's no reason why baking cookies can't include your 4 legged friends. In addition to giving your pet a homemade treat, you can help prevent the harmful buildup of plaque. You can help to keep your dog's teeth and gums healthy by giving them a hard crunchy treat to help scrape their teeth clean. This is not a replacement for brushing but rather in addition to proper oral care. Try to make your biscuits large enough so they will chew on both sides of their mouth. This will provide a better cleaning action. Not all the treat recipes found here are hard and crunchy. Some are just for fun, because our pets need to indulge sometimes too! |
